December 18, 2018 – LHEMS members Connor Dunning and Jacob Theisz graduated Hackensack Meridian Health’s Emergency Medical Technician training program, at the Ocean County Fire and EMS Training Center, in Waretown, NJ. This program consisted of over 200 hours of didactic (classroom) as well as practical (hands on) edification. Connor and Jacob will now sit for the National Registry and New Jersey State EMT Examinations, respectively. After attaining the credential of Emergency Medical Technician, they will begin the FTO program at LHEMS, a process which completely familiarizes members with agency policies and protocols, as well as the operation of an emergency vehicle.
