Lacey: Around 05:10 Sunday morning a motorcyclist crashed in the area of US 9 @ Bay Avenue. Originally a Medevac was requested for the victim’s injuries, but was later cancelled after the victim underwent CPR. While no official confirmation has been issued- we are concluding the victim has succumbed to his injuries based off radio traffic.
The intersection will be closed for a while as the investigation is ongoing. OCSD CSI among with Lacey PD and NJ DOT will remain on scene. The victim on the motorcycle appears to be a male who should be celebrating his 24th birthday this week. There are no more details available at this time in regards to the crash. We will make a new story once a press release is made available.
