LACEY: A motorist is out with an injured deer on Manchester @ Grove. The deer was struck by a vehicle, and the motorist is out with the injured deer. It sounds like no or minimal vehicle damage, caller is only concerned for Ol’ Deery. Police were responding to the incident.
As for the stock photo of Sir Fluffs A Lot- yes people, that isn’t a deer at all. While deer are pretty in their own ways, we haven’t needed this majestic feral cat in a while. Sir Fluffs lived under the SSH Boardwalk, before Sandy. After the storm, he was never seen again. Friendly kitty- he would pose for you, but rarely get close.
